Here is one of our 4 Turks. These things are dangerous...they come towards you like they aren't afraid of anything!!! We DO NOT allow Emma to be on the same side of the fence as them. Even through 3 layers of chicken and rabbit wire if she stuck her fingers in they would definitly take a little nibble. They are just very curious and their curiosity makes them come across as mean. They are sure going to taste yummy this fall!!!
Here they are all together. We have 4 hens and 4 turkeys. We are getting ready to move them across the yard to a space much bigger. The turkeys are barely fitting in the coop and we will need to make something bigger for them! The turkeys are 7 weeks old.
These are 2 of the 9 bunnies that came up above the ground this week. The goat yard just all the sudden seemed filled with little fur balls running around. We will let them grow in the yard until they are ready to be "harvested" and then Todd will do the deed.
Here is Nutmeg with her babies. They have been de-horned and the little boy has been banded. We are looking for a home for 2 of the babies and we will only keep Oreo, the little black one. We started milking Nutmeg this week and got some pretty tasty milk out of her!

Those bunnies look too cute to be harvested! But good luck anyway. I just hope Hanks charm can save him from the wrath of todd come slaughtering day!!
