"Mom, look my new gasses." I hear from the other room. And here she comes running to show me. The hat was Todd's and in a goodwill pile by the front door. We are still working on fashion around here...
Can't get enough of her...even on the days when I want to send her to my mom's house because she's driving me nuts I still love her. She's sensing the changes ahead and is getting anxious about it. Today I had my ultrasound of Max (I'll scan them and post them tomorrow) and I showed them to her and I think that was the first time that she actually understood, or made a connection, as to what is really going on with my belly and why we keep calling it "Max." She was so precious when she saw the picture of Max and said, "Oh my gosh, baby Max beautiful." ***SIGH*** doesn't that melt your heart?
Things I love to hear this girl say right now:
*Mom, I sooooo sorry. (usually after she's done something and is tattling on herself)
*Mom, I need my elmo basket. (It sits on the fridge holding her halloween candy.)
*Are you okay? to which I'll say yes and then ask if she's ok and she'll say: "No, I fine."
*Cough. "I ok Mom."
*Mom, relax, settle down.
*Sweetheart, whatcha doin? (to Todd)
*Wuts Sophie barkin' at Mom?
*(In the car) Mom, we goin to Santa Fe?
*I need to make a card. (usually when I'm crafting)
*I need more cucumbers. (Thanks to Gram!)
*Pity's Sake. (Another thanks to Gram!)
*Mom, my knee hurts. I need bandaid my toe. (as she limps away on the opposite foot...)
*Mom, remember last night I sleep by myself. Good job.
