Simple Pleasures...

Little Soph has her cute moments...we definitely don't love the potty training mishaps but she Emma have soooooo much fun together. It's like they were meant to be together. We fenced in our patio so that Sophie can't get to the garden. She was enjoying the asparagus and peppers while we were gone! I wish I would have gotten some footage of Emma trying to go out Sophie's dog door...that was hilarious!
Emma has discovered a love for fresh peas. We went to the farmers market a few days ago and bought a bag and she couldn't get enough, which is such a blessing because she is having a veggie aversion lately. We have 3 beds full of peas so I can't wait for ours to be ready to pick so she can enjoy them fresh out of our garden. And the good news is that after 26 years of hating peas...Todd has decided he likes garden fresh peas too!
Today I made 8 loaves of bread and it is sooooo yummy. Unfortunately we finished off the last of the homemade jam tonight so I will have to make some more this week! Peach/Blackberry! Yummy!
I made big loaves and mini loaves for Meatball subs! Thanks Jenny for the bread recipe!
Todd and Em reading their scripture stories before bed. I ***love*** it when he's home on the 2 nights a week that he's off. It makes bed time such a break for me. I bet he feels like he "works" harder on his days off than when he's actually at work, but I think he catches a glimpse of what I go through everyday! Plus...he's working on building a stronger relationship with Em so that when the new baby comes she'll want to be with him. She's been so clingy lately and it's hard on me and him. She's in her bed right now screaming for "Daddy!" Guess that's a good sign so far!
