How brave we are...today Todd and I had 10 little kids between the ages of 2 and 5 here for Emma's 2nd birthday party. WHAT AN ADVENTURE!!! It actually wasn't terrible and everyone had a good time. We did a "Candy Land" type theme and every kid got to decorate and take home their own candy train.

We were lucky to have several parents stay and help so there was almost 1 adult to every 1-2 kids. It was so cute to watch these little people concentrate so hard on making things just right. They of course loved to lick their fingers!!! (The glue was frosting!)

Love this picture above, it was the epitome of what all the kids were doing...licking their fingers!

Then it was presents time and that was super fun. Each kid helped Emma open the present that they gave her...

She got coloring books, crayons, bubble stuff, a princess doll, a princess plate, bowl and cup, a dress, a purse with some puppies in it, lots of cute stuff!!!

This little boy was the most helpful! :) He helped Em with almost every present, it was so cute!!!

It was a fun party and a success! We have decided to do a birthday party every other year just to take a break...!!!

Can't say I'm not glad we departed yesterday. This might have been a bit too much for Nana and Papa!
