Saturday we got to go to Albuquerque for the annual NICU Reunion. My Dr. said she was only letting me off bedrest since I was going to a hospital function and even forwarded my chart to the hospital just in case. This is Max with Dr. Grey. She is the head of the NICU and literally saved Max's life when he coded the night he arrived in the NICU. We spent 2 weeks under her care and watch and have kept in touch with her since. We are sooooo grateful to have had her.

This is Dr. Kaselonis. He is Dr Grey's husband and also is one of the main Dr's in the NICU. He dressed up as Santa while Max was in the NICU and we got a picture of Max's first Santa experience. They make a wonderful team of dr's and we felt so blessed to have been sent to that hospital!

We called the reunion a carnival for the week leading up to it and Emma was totally thrilled with the bounce house and the inflatable slide. She didn't want to leave and when we did she kept saying, I just want to go back to my carnival. The dr's all knew her by name as well and that made her feel special.

I don't know why the cheesy storm troopers were at the reunion but Todd wanted a picture with them....so here it is! :)

Carnival games...she finally moved up and dropped the rings directly on the spider! LOL!

Max was in heaven in the bounce house too, he loved it, even when the big kids got inside and bounced him all around. It was his first time jumping and he didn't want to get out!

The kids had a great time and it was fun to see our nurses and dr's especially when our kids are both healthy and we don't have to be patients. The only thing they missed out on was the face painting because the line was too long, but we made up for that later by buying a face painting kit and letting them go crazy...pictures later!
