So...I realize that most of you probably just want to see pictures of Emma and you don't care about my fame or popularity right now...but this is my blog and I'm going to share it with you! :) (I mean that in the nicest way possible!) As of last night we had 1500 hits to our win a home site in less than 24 hours. We were also on the homepage of yahoo. I am going to wait until Monday to check the po box as it seems I've only been disappointed at this point. But...things could be looking up. The producer from Good Morning America (Desiree) will be calling to check in with us again on Monday and then I received a couple more emails from radio shows wanting to interview us. Hopefully it works!!!
Although as Todd and I were talking last night, we aren't sure what we will do if our house really does sell and we have to move. We talked about staying here in for another six months to a year and him working at his current job...which by the way, the Santa Fe newspaper called him a Physicist...so he was promoted! And at the end of that time frame we will figure out where our next adventure will take us. My business partner Jen is trying to get us to move to California, which I'm all for, but Todd's against it...so who knows where the wind will blow us next!
This has been such a crazy experience. I NEVER thought it would get the kind of attention that it has and not to be a negative Nancy, but I really didn't think we'd get enough entries. Now, the emails that I'm getting (which are flooding in) are questions about saving spots for people in the contest because they want to make sure their entry is in and that they are one of the 2500 people.
Monday I will talk to our lawyer and accountant again just to make sure everything is still a-ok and that we are on track.
Next weekend (National Scrapbooking Weekend) I will have a professional photographer in town and will have her take pictures of the house in various angles to post a slide show up on the site!
Who knows what will come of all of this, but I do know it has been fun and exciting and right up my ally in terms of adventures!!!

PS...if you start becoming a better friend to me now...I'll totally know that you also want to be famous and are using my current stardom to obtain your own...so...if that is your plan, I'd try schmoozing Todd first because he wouldn't see through your little plan but I would!!! :) Love you all!

I'm so glade you are so famous and I really hope you can move closer to Alisa and me.
Don't forget your ole' mom and dad that sat up late nights comforting you when your dog was on death's door, when you were afraid to fly back to NY City on Jan 1 2000, when you forgot the words to the national anthem at a wrestling tournament, etc. This should prove that we are not JUST jumping onto the celebrity band wagon. We've been on it from day one.
