When I was little we used to get so excited about making candy trains! We did this instead of making ginger bread houses. We decided that since we are stuck inside our house for two weeks we'd bring the tradition alive again!

First, you gather all your materials. We chose snickers, rollos, starburst, skittles, gummy bears, gum drops, twizzlers, thin mint cookies, and for the glue - frosting! (All the fixin's for a serious sugar attack!)

After we were done, our eyes were wide with greed!!! We had created a perfect little village for the gummy bears to celebrate Christmas!

There was a skittle lake, a gum drop path, a little mountain for the bears to go sledding, and lots more! It was a fun activity. We definitly will keep this tradition alive for the kids...Emma just sat in her bouncy seat the whole time and didn't have a clue what we were doing. Charlie and Saydie, on the other hand, we very interested in the activity and caught every last little piece that fell!
