She's 4!

Yes this was my desk when I was a girl and I love that Emma loves to sit at it and call it her own! Emma is 4 now (has been since July) but it has been a noticable difference from the 3's. She is more responsible, more willing to do things that big people do and more anxious to be a grown up. She got her ears pierced a few weeks ago (pictures to come), she is getting ready to start ballet and tap and we are doing home preschool this year so that she and Max can play and spend time with the baby. She loves to be with me, everywhere I go and she has really followed this pregnancy close, keeping track of things and feeling sister move and going with me to get my blood drawn to help me be "brave." She has the sweetest spirit and LOVES to sing and dance.

Here's a few things she's said lately that make me laugh:

*Me: Stop annoying your brother. Emma: I'm not annoying my brother, I'm annoying my own self.

*My hip hurts mom, baby sister must be sitting on it.

*We need to get pedicures mom, look at my heels.

*I'm going to marry Maddox Mortimes mom and my name will be Emma Jean Mortimes. (His name is actually Martines....)

*I need a big pillow like yours to help me sleep better.

*Bed time: I just need to tell you a few more things.

LOVE THIS GIRL! She is my best friend, my shadow and my 1st experience as a mother! So glad I have her!
