Better late than never I always say...June 25th the Cerro Grande Fire took over Los Alamos County evacuating us away. It was super stressful because Todd had to stay home and work and I had to load up the animals and Max (Emma was with my parents on her own vacation) and get out of town. Luckily our good friends Deb and Phil Wood took us in at their cabin and let our animals wander among theirs! This is where I celebrated my 30th b-day, our 5th anniversary and Emma's 4th b-day. Not exactly my dream spot, but at least we were safe!

This is our goat, Lady, and she is always in our face when she isn't in her pen. She is like a dog and constantly thinks we have food or a treat for her.

This was a funny moment to catch all the goats laying down at the same time. There were over 30 goats all together, our 4 and the rest Deb's. The goat in the middle with the white on her side is Nutmeg, she is our original goat and our "first love" of goaties!

This is the stream where we played and bathed...super fun...NOT. I am so not meant to be a camper...especially a pregnant camper. Max loved playing in it though.

Todd got to come up for 2 nights and spend time with us. I was truly grateful for that because I was really missing him during our week of events and feeling sorry for myself that I had to spend them alone!
