Todd's been working on his bagpipe chanter. He takes lessons every other week. He is coming along in his music career. He gets very frustrated that he doesn't know everything he needs to know about sight reading already...
He even played Happy Birthday for my mom in front of a large audience so he's getting more confident and he will continue to improve as he practices. You learn the bagpipes on this practice chanter and after you have mastered it you move on to an actual set of pipes. His teacher said he's a ways out from the pipes, but he's working towards it.
Todd had a back injury in February that took him out of work for 2+ weeks and made it impossible for him to join the Shoot Team at work this year. He was pretty bummed about that and is looking forward to next years Team.
With all that's been going on lately we have found ourselves truly in the midst of some crazy trials and I'm so grateful for him and for our relationship and commitment to each other. In a world of uncertainty I'm grateful for us and for our closeness to each other and the Lord. I sure love this man, more now than I did 5 years ago when I was preparing to marry him...crazy how fast time flies!
