Yep, here she is folks...albeit this is about 3 months ago and she's about 40lbs heavier now. But this is Darby. She's 100% Great Dane. We are nuts, yes, we know...
It's been Todd's dream to have a Great Dane and when we found this little of puppies it was hard to say no. Darby is totally potty trained and the annoying things we are working on now are the chewing puppy habits and keeping her 4 paws on the ground.
She is great with kids, surprisingly, because of her size we were very worried about this. But she is very careful, especially with Max. She treats him very gently and most of the time when we can't find her she is snuggled up at the foot of Emma's bed keeping Emma's feet warm! She loves the goats and teases Lady on a regular basis but she loves being near them. We have had a casualty with one chicken, but we are sure it wasn't a vicious thing more of a playful accident.
