In Awe!

Today was an extremely long day, but as I sit here to give a little shout out and update, I am grateful to be able to look back and see the tender mercies I have been given. Emma went potty in the big girl toilet tonight. She was so nervous about it, but did it nevertheless. What a thrill that was as a mom to be with this little person as she experienced a milestone, a HUGE learning moment and a success. I know it's little in comparison with things she will do later in life, but right now, this is so big. I feel so blessed to be Emma's mom. She amazes me every single day with the intelligence she has been blessed with. She lights up a room with her smile and her coy personality. Todd calls her a Ham Sandwich and she truly is a ham, she loves to entertain and make people laugh. She isn't a cuddler, but every once in a while we get a chance to hold her close and snuggle with her, oh how I love those moments. She loves to dance and this girl loves to sing, especially in the car with the music up loud to Mamma Mia!
In addition to this little milestone for Emma, I had a breakthrough of my own. I designed my first website in Dreamweaver and it was difficult and confusing and frustrating and I ran into all kinds of problems, but I did it and I'm so proud of myself. I am truly my fathers daughter...when you want something done, you go out and teach yourself how to do it! So, here's the link for my new website. There are still things I need to add to it, but it will come!
I was also tagged through e-mail for my FIVE list...so here it is because I don't usually send forwards out:
