Catching Up!

It's been a few days since I blogged so I thought I'd do a bit of catch up. Thursday was Valentine's Day and Emma also had a Dr's appt. She got 4 shots! So, not only does she have TWO teeth coming in at the same time but she got these 4 shots too. Needless to say, Thursday night was a rough one!
Friday we got a call from the recruiter of Todd's company saying they were ready for him to report on Sunday...(today)...well, we weren't ready so he turned down the contract and is on the "Ready List" for the next one, which will probably be in the beginning of March. There are several things we have to take care of before he leaves and now we've really got to crunch to get it all done.
We are babysitting a puppy this weekend...that has been an interesting experience. I was worried how Charlie would treat this puppy but he's been fine, it's Saydie that's had the problems. I guess she's tired of Charlie bossing her around so she's taking it out on this puppy. She's had to be in "time-out" a few times! I'm so glad I don't have a puppy. For anyone thinking about getting one....DON'T DO IT!!!!! Call me or email me, I'm looking at 3 reasons why you shouldn't! (I love my Charlie Brown to pieces but that doesn't change the fact that it's hard to have animals and travel!)
Today, Sunday, I taught the lesson in Relief Society. It was on the Book of Mormon. I went into feeling a little "down" because this is a topic that is touched on so much, but the spirit was amazing. I dug through my mission stuff this morning before church and found some treasures that I was able to share. It was a great lesson, I know I learned a lot from it!
Tomorrow we will pack up and get ready for our family trip! We are so excited to see Jakey! Here's hoping the weather's good and the gas prices don't rise anymore!
