Just so you know...

I constantly talk about Miss Em and rarely about my sweet Todd! So here it is... What's his name? Todd
How long did you date? We dated for 3 1/2 months...We knew each other for about 2 weeks longer than that! Got married on July 1, 2006.
How old is he? 25. I don't say that he's old because I'm a year older and that would just mean that I'm old too!
Who eats more? He does - for sure. I determined that he is a "binge" eater! He just walks by the fridge and opens it...not looking for anything in particular, but if something jumps out at him he will eat it!
Who said "I love you" first? He did. It was like the 3rd date too...my response was..."I know..."
Who is taller? Todd is. I'm a shorty!
Who sings better? I am. Todd doesn't really sing. He is a lot more confident though now that Emma is here. He will sing to her and make up silly songs about her!
Who is smarter? I think that we are both smart in different areas. Todd has such a deep intellectual side to him that sometimes I have to say "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!" I think we balance each other though in our areas of smartness!
Who does the laundry? We both do. But I absolutely hate doing it. I just hate the whole process...sorting, washing, drying, folding, putting away, wearing, washing...etc. I need a laundry maid!
Who does the dishes? We both do. I think that he probably will step in and unload the dishwasher more frequently than I do.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? If you're at the foot of the bed looking at it, it's Todd. I was already use to sleeping on the left side...Charlie Brown had the right side so Todd had to kick him off!
Who pays the bills? Me. I take care of all the bills, checking/savings accounts, etc. He checks in every few months to see what's going on, but mostly it's all me. We have a pretty strict budget and each get an allowance a month to spend on whatever we want...somehow it's never enough!
Who mows the lawn? What lawn...this is New Mexico...okay so all of our neighbors have lawns, ours is just sort of this semi-landscaped wild jungle.
Who fixes broken things? Todd. If he doesn't know how to fix it then he usually calls his dad.
Who cooks dinner? Me. Todd has had to ask me when to put the noodles in for spaghetti! He does make some killer waffles though! (my favorite breakfast!)
Who drives when you are together? Todd. Sometimes I will drive, but then it just feels weird. I can be quite a basketcase though when he is driving, I'm a terrible backseat driver!
Who is more stubborn? hmmmm...I don't know. I think this might be a tie! We both have our moments!
Who kissed who first? Todd...on our 2nd date!
Who asked who out first? Todd asked me out. He called his friend though first to make sure that we were just friends so he could make his move!
Who proposed? Um , NOT me! It was April Fool's Day and we went to dinner at I-HOP and I kept thinking, he's totally going to ask me here...he didn't and we went back to my apartment and he went to the bathroom. Well, he went IN the bathroom. I could hear him in there talking. (He was practicing his proposal.) He came out and knelt down and asked me if I would spend eternity with him. To which I said "Is this an April Fool's Day joke?" He was so flustered and nervous...I was terrible to do that to him, but I said yes! He proposed to me with my Grandma Jean's engagement ring that she had given me at my 16th birthday and then we went ring shopping the next week. We went to his parents house afterwards and told them the good news!
Who is more sensitive? Definitely me. Todd's getting better though. I think that he hides behind his job a lot, acting tougher than he really is! He is very compassionate.
Who has more friends? I do. I am completely the social butterfly! He would be satisfied to stay home and hang out while I love to go out. (Emma is already so much like me in this area!)
Who has more siblings? Todd does, 3 sisters and one brother. I have two brothers and a sister. We are both the oldests in our families though!
Who wears the pants in the family? Hmmm...this is a hard one. We both do on different things I'd say. I probably do about a lot of stuff, but he has his moments as well. Overall I think we try to balance it out. I whine more than I should and tend to get my way in certain things...did I mention how compassionate he is?!
Anyway...that sums up my little post about Todd. I love him so much. We are undergoing some very big/serious life changing decisions together and it has made me realize even more how much I care about him and how crazy in love with him I am.
