Home Sweet Home...

After two long weeks of being away from my sweet husband, I packed my entire house...and the kitchen sink...and moved down to Albuquerque to be with him for the remainder of his training. (He has 4 weeks left.) We have a large room with a king size bed. A living room area, a bathroom with vanity area. A pool heated to about 90. Breakfast every morning, dinner every night. The staff has been so great to me! My housekeeper's name is Olga and she is so nice. She takes the poopy diaper trash out everyday AND makes my bed!
We have a full size fridge, stove and dishwasher in the kitchen so we were able to buy groceries and cook...instead of just eating the pbj's that Todd was living off of. We put Emma's pack n' play in the bathroom/vanity area and that has become her room. She is sleeping so well in her own bed. We brought her Safari Mobil and hooked it up to a chair above her bed and she just loves it. She falls asleep on her own nowadays!!! It's been such a blessing and such a relief.
Last night we had the missionaries from the area come over to tell us where the church is and they brought amember with them. It looks like we will be attending the singles ward/branch in the area because the other wards are about 30 minutes away. The member is young like us and he and his wife attend because he is in the branch presidency, so we will go hang out with them. We will probably go to a couple activities with him and his wife too...how funny! But I think they are looking for numbers and we are looking for friends in this big city! It will be an adventure. Maybe we'll even get to speak! Ha!!
This weekend, Todd will go back to Los Alamos and get our dogs, Charlie Brown and Saydie and bring them here to be with us. It will cost us less for the dog damage deposit than to pay the girl we are having house/pet sit. Plus, they have never been away from us for more than a week, let alone 4 weeks! It will truly be a story...kind of like riding to Vernal Utah in a volkswagon bug with 6 people and a 75lb dog. The things we do to be with our family!

Isn't it wonderful though how these things we do are always worth it to spend the time and create the memories with those special people? Love you sister :)

Brielle,
I'm so sad. I just need to call you and tell you about it. I can't come. I will explain more later!

living in a hotel isn't all bad...you get a personal maid. It's like a "paid vacation" don't you think?
