A glimpse at today...

Today was much better than yesterday...We did so many fun things! I woke up at 5 (couldn't go back to sleep) and cleaned my kitchen, my bathroom and my living room. What a great way to start the day with a clean house! Then, since today was Dr. Seuss's birthday we had some friends over and had a birthday party. Of course I didn't take any pictures of the party...but here's the super fun banner! :) All the kids had a blast and loved that they each got a new book!
I go through one of these Sam's Clubs containers of Spinach EVERY SINGLE DAY. So...as you can imagine, I've got a lot of plastic containers laying around...
So I put them to use and created some sensory bins for the kids. One has colored rice, one has moonsand with seashells, this one has boring elbow noodles that I need to color. The kids LOVE them and it keeps them entertained easily for 45 minutes. SCORE!

And...Todd finished my measuring stick/ruler for the wall today so tomorrow we'll be hanging that bad boy up and measuring everyone!
