What a weekend!!!

We went to Utah this past weekend for a couple of reasons...#1 was for Max's blessing and #2 was for Time Out for Women. What an awesome weekend! Aubrie and her cute family came up from St. George to be there at the blessing and it was sooooo good to see them! Hopefully we can talk our husbands into a Disney trip and hang out later this summer! One of the things I love about me and Aubrie's friendship is that we can be separated for months and even years and when we get together it's like no time has past and we pick up where we left off! (We are like a soap opera!) I truly love my best friend Aubrie and wish we lived closer!
We were blessed to have so many friends and family present for Max's blessing. It was such a special occasion and we appreciate everyone who sacrificed their time to be there. We realize that with the storms looming all around the valley it made things more interesting for those that traveled but it meant the world to us to have everyone there that came! This picture is Todd's family, his sister and her baby and husband, Todd's dad and brother and his dad's parents and his aunt.
This is a neat picture because Grandpa D is Todd's Great-Grandpa and Max is his first Great-Great Grandson, so it's 5 generations!
This is Max and Grandpa D's hand...something I thought was really special...another 5 generation picture! The stories that these hands hold!
And here's us...we couldn't for the life of us get Em to take a normal picture so this is what's going on our wall! It's ok, it expresses her personality. Oh, and Ashley Thay cut and colored my hair this weekend! She did a great job and it's fun to have a new style and short hair!
Thank you everyone for a great weekend, for a spiritually uplifting meeting on Saturday night and for the opportunity to attend Time Out for Women with my mom and sisters!

It was a glorious weekend for sure. I'm sorry that you had such bad weather to travel in going home but so happy you made it safe. Every time I sneeze or blow my nose I will think of you guys :-)

Oh Tiff!!! I cried a little when I read what you wrote about us. Remember when you were moving to Colorado from Utah and My mom purposed to YOU for ME? I already started looking up D land tickets and I have a great idea of how to do it cheaper. I am not going to spill my guts about it here in case Todd see it...(we need my secrets as a bargaining tool). It was so good to see you and Hall's keeps talking about Emma, her future BFF.
