Long over due...

It's high time I get on this blog thing and get some pictures posted!!! We have been kind of in a crazy place for the last month...we put an offer in on a property, a bed and breakfast, that was in foreclosure and the bank didn't accept our offer so we have the option of waiting now until it goes to auction...but as we've been going through this whole process we have learned some pretty incredible things...
#1. It is really difficult to pack a house with 2 small children. Emma has been able to entertain herself with using a marker and writing the things on the box that I tell her...mind you I will never be able to decipher her 3 year old language but she feels a part of it all and isn't whining so I let her do it!
#2. Packing and then not knowing where you are going is slightly stressful...and then renting your house out and still not having a place to go in a week is a bit stressful as well...
#3. The Lord's got it all figured out. My mission presidents wife use to say "If God knows I'm going through this, and it's all right with him that I'm going through it, then it's all right with me!" So...in light of that little inspirational thought, I am totally fine with all that we've been through and are still going through. I always was a girl of adventure...hello, I moved to NYC when I was 17 years old BY MYSELF...
#4. I have A LOT of stuff...no seriously...I have packed up all my scrapbook totes and I'm almost ashamed/embarrassed to admit how many there are...they are 18 gallon totes and I have 17 totes...UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Guess I better get to work!!! I am hoping that Todd doesn't notice those when we move...just keep on loading honey, I don't know why they are all labeled craft room...hmmm...
#5. I have been a terrible blogger in spite of all that's been happening and I've missed the opportunity to tell you about some of the precious things that my children are doing or saying...for starters...here's Emma's most recent list of sayings:
*Mom, I just need this for all my life. (whatever it is that she wants at the moment)
*I can't deal with this anymore mom.
*When my grow up, my have lots of babies in my tummy mom. (Good luck Emma!!!)
*Oh Maxy, you are such a precious little baby!
*I need to tell you a big secret mom. (then she whispers in my ear: I really love you!)
*I don't know what I'm suppose to do about it all.
*I'm just packing my stuff mom, for my new house. I need my tape.

Max-a-million is 8 1/2 months old...I can't even believe it! He is such a tank. He weighs in over 20lbs and is soooo tall. I can't get any onesies to fit this kid. He's built just like his daddy. He has two bottom teeth and two top teeth that keep comingBold in and then going back up...such a pain. He sleeps through the night for about 12 hours on his stomach. (He starts out on his back!) He still isn't completely sitting up on his own and we aren't even thinking about crawling yet. He *loves* to be snuggled and to be rocked and the song that can calm him down instantly is "I'm bringing home my baby bumble bee". He is sooooo smiley and makes friends whereever we go. People always feel so flattered when he flashes his smile at them until I tell them that he always smiles! He is so laid back compared to Emma and he can be so sensitive. Tonight Emma was throwing a tantrum and Max was watching and all of the sudden out of nowhere he burst into tears. His feelings were hurt that Emma was so sad. Poor guy! His daddy is trying to toughen him up, but he is such a softy and truly a momma's boy!!!
Here are some pictures of the past couple of weeks...

What's going on...I am so confused! Are you moving. PLEASE tell me what's going on!

Hey, did Jakey baby and his super cute wifey tell you I saw them at Ikea? It was so fun to see them. I can't believe he is going to be a daddy.

I'm concerned about all those rabbits and chickens and goats and your garden. I literally lost sleep over it last night.

Brielle,
Why on earth did you lose sleep over the farm yard? We actually don't have any goats or rabbits right now...just 5 little chickens!
